I have been wanting to start a blog for quite a while now and for a variety of reasons.
After I moved to a different country, I always felt the need to let everybody back home know what I was doing, seeing,discovering, feeling and so on. Working in tourism, the seeing and discovering part was most important though, with my curiosity constantly growing.
Until last summer, my desk job allowed for more time to explore than I could have ever expected, testing our own services aka tours, planning them for others and constantly gaining new knowledge about the country I’m living in now. That certainly grows your To Do list!
Back at uni for my MSc, I thought this would stay the same. Uni time is the best time right? Except it’s not – I was told straight up that I wouldn’t have much free time and tons of work to complete. Whenever I’m at uni, it pushes me to the edge of what I’m capable of and I start to abandon everything I love doing – especially traveling and drawing.
So, this blog is a promise to myself to get back to what I love doing – to step out to see and discover new (and some old) things and turn them into a mix of photos and drawings.
I think I’m gonna have a lot of fun along the way and can’t wait to see where it takes me.
